Mississippi Coast Engagement Photos

The word that comes to mind when I think of Rachael and Casey’s engagement session is “giddy”!

These two were definitely feeling the sweet anticipation of their wedding (and really, just finally becoming husband and wife!), and I’m so glad I was there to preserve these moments for them.

This session was extra special because Rachael is family! It’s always an honor to when friends and family trust me to thoughtfully document their milestones. The Mississippi coast was a beautiful backdrop on a warm day.

It was an honor to spend the day documenting such a sacred occasion with Parker and Larissa as they made a covenant before God, their friends, and family. The ceremony honored God’s design for marriage and a desire for this marriage to point others to the love of Jesus.

Some of my favorite highlights from the ceremony: we worshipped to Build My Life by Pat Barrett (that Larissa sang at the mic with her beautiful voice!). During the vows portion, Larissa explained she’d had a special music box since childhood that played the melody of “Someday My Prince Will Come” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and then gave it to Parker in front of everyone (cue tears).

The sky threatened rain (with thunder) during the ceremony when the temperature dropped a good 15 degrees, but the rain drops held off until just as Parker and Larissa made their exit!
